In our interactions and communications things are rarely the way we at first observe and are often quite the opposite.
A glamorous job may be in fact an empty drudge; the goal we set when achieved may not be what was envisaged at all.
While the activities we fear may turn out to be enjoyable and successful.
Grounding, is the beginning, connecting via Feeling...finding Balance...finding Equanimity...finding Peace within...finding Love!
It is in the process...it is the Journey!
Proper alignment of the body increases the flow of energy within it.
Awareness of that 'energy flow' is by feeling. The intention of the mind is to feel and direct the flow of energy inside the body and it's periphery.
The importance of Mind-Body integration is in slow movement. A slow steady pace of movement helps reduce stress and relaxes us. This also helps in improving balance, strength and vitality. Slow movement develops self awareness and equanimity for overall well being.
Strength & Power | Balance | Spatial Awareness | Focus & Confidence
Power comes from proper alignment of the body. It is moving from balance and equanimity. Finding equilibrium in movement and awareness of being. It is one's connection to the ground, above and surroundings. This builds confidence, reinforcing the will - the "can-do" mentality.
This concept is important for health, vitality and endurance.
Power in training, is the augmentation and efficiency in movement during execution. It is also the capability to minimize injuries and deal with stress from our daily activities. One always wants to be centered - to be balanced!
Power is to be within Ying and Yang as best as we can.
Our Vision is to Inspire and Explore the Mind, Body and Spirit for better Well-Being. We are dedicated to personal growth and development through the practice of Martial Arts, both Internal and External.
